Zen Google — a calmer Google
Last updated: 23 May 2026
Zen Google does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data.
- It has no backend server and no analytics.
- Your preferences — the feature toggles, the AI mode, and the list of sites where you've chosen to allow One Tap — are stored using Chrome's built-in extension storage. If you are signed into Chrome, they sync through your own Google account — they are never sent to us or to any third party.
- Site-access permissions are requested only when you turn a feature on, and are used solely to block the Google "Sign in with Google" popup or to remove the AI Overview from search results. No page content is ever read, recorded, or transmitted.
Zen Google does not use or transfer any data to third parties, for advertising, for determining creditworthiness, or for any purpose unrelated to its single function described above.
